Meeting, Incentives and Team Building

What an extraordinary four days in Catalonia. We are all still talking about it! Thank you for organising everything for us. From the transport to the hysterical Team Building activity, not to mention the bike tour– what a great way to see the old quarter of Barcelona. It was so reassuring to know that you were there every step of the way with us and that we could get on with our meetings and activities and you had all the organisation and logistics covered. We were also very impressed with the precision of the interpreter services and not to mention the beautiful afternoon spent at the winery. What a wonderful day.  From the Pau Cassals museum to the fascinating Monastery up in the hills. Thank you for organising such a lovely excursion and for ensuring we were where we had to be at all times. It was great not to have to worry about anything and just be driven around in beautiful countryside.

“Adrien and Patricia.   We wanted to thank you again for yet another great trip.   Each time we come to Sitges, we look forward to the special attention we get from Sitges Silver Service.   The last wine tour was especially great and the hidden restaurant you found is still a talking point!   We think it is the fact that our trips are personally thought out by you depending how many of us are there.   We now cannot imagine waiting in that taxi rank at the airport and love the VIP treatment of a luxury car waiting for us.   We always thought these kind of services in general were overrated and overpriced but we always use you because you are affordable and we have had nothing but excellent service and value for money.   Looking forward to catching up with you both again soon.   Craig and Hugh, Glasgow, Scotland.”

Excursion

Having contacted Sitges Silver Service as recommended hotelier we were able to co-ordinate an experience of a lifetime as part of renewal of wedding vows from our home The Netherlands. Communication was clear and always on time. Our experience was a Hot Air Balloon Ride in the Igualada region. We begun travel at 6am, although early the journey was made enjoyable through our guides knowledge of the surrounding areas that we drove through and equally by the comfort of the vehicle. Upon arrival at the departure point we were introduced to our pilot in a very informal relaxed manner over coffee and croissants. This was important for us as neither of us had ever flown in a balloon before and were both anxious about heights. The pilot and our guide explained what the process would be as we assisted in inflating the balloon. Whilst the balloon was being inflated our guide took photos and the pilot set a digital camcorder playing to capture the whole experience.

On taking off from the departure site our guide followed our balloon cross country in the car. The ascent was smooth and almost motionless as the ground and familiar surrounding drifted out of range. It was only on looking directly beneath us did we realise how high we had already reached, as I recall we were 750mtrs. The thought of being in a basket held aloft by a silk balloon at such a height was tempered by the peacefulness of the warm air and no other sounds apart from dogs barking in the distance. It was wonderful to drift almost effortlessly across open countryside.

As we made ready to set down in a field an hour of so later, we realised that we actually wanted the flight to continue for longer. After we had landed and everything was packed away we made our way to local eatery and enjoyed traditional Catalan food with our pilot and guide. The journey back to Sitges was a quiet one, partly because we were tired, but equally due to ore inspiring experience of riding in a balloon. Trying to put the experience in to words is difficult. Private Chef and Hot Air Balloon Flight

Our stay at the Villa would not have been as complete without the assistance of the private chef. Many thanks for organising such fantastic gourmet dinners. It was a blessing not to have to prepare meals and have fully catered dinners waiting for us at the end of the day. Of course, it goes without saying that the Hot Air Balloon flight was truly a magnificent experience. Thank you for organising it and for being our chaperone on the day.
